Old Spanish Villa

This is one of the most enjoyable projects I have worked on. This new house was built to resemble an old Spanish Villa so I was asked to design and build cabinetry to match the theme of the house. Hand distressed white oak was chosen for the main cabinetry and hand distressed walnut was used for the kitchen island. Dark stain, shellac and wax was used to create the finish necessary to match the rest of the architectural and design elements.

Rustic Cherry Cabinets

Rustic cherry is one of my favorite species of wood to work with. I love the natural color that darkens over time to a rich patina. In this example no stain was applied and the cabinets were top coated with a durable conversion varnish. The knots and defects add character and depth and durability of cherry will ensure these cabinets will last a lifetime.

Reproduction cabinet

This milk painted cabinet is featured with through dovetails; true divided light; and ball feet. crafted with poplar; hand planed and scraped to resemble an 18th century piece; painted with milk paint and lightly sanded to show wear; and hand waxed to give it luster and depth

Small Dovetailed Box/Keepsake Box

This box is constructed with mahogany and yellow pine and finished with aniline dye and shellac.
